Search For Santa - 5 Days

![]() |
A short break in Levi, a charming Lappish town just north of the Arctic Circle, is the perfect way to enjoy everything Lapland has to offer. Combine this with organised activities, optional excursions and a choice of hotels, and you too can discover everything this magical winter wonderland has to offer. |
|
Day 1...Welcome to a Winter Wonderland
On arrival into Levi you'll be greeted by one of Santa's little helpers whose first job will be to make sure you're all wrapped up nice and warm in thermal suits and boots. Once you're snug and protected from the elements it's time to be off to your hotel for your welcome meeting and to get settled into the christmas spirit.
Your afternoon is at leisure to take in the magical wintery surroundings. Explore the bustling resort, which has a cosmopolitan feel and offers all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern ski resort, with a handful of supermarkets, gift shops and several restaurants.
Alternatively you could start the biggest snowball fight of your lives - there's an endless supply of snow! Get sledging, build a snowman or simply relax by an open fire - the choice is yours.
After sundown the many bars come to life and there's a nightclub for those who still have energy to burn at the end of an action-packed day.
Day 2...It's Just Snow Fun
A morning filled with festive fun in the snow awaits and you'll need to ensure your're well rested the night before! Experience the thrill of dashing through the snow on a sleigh behind Santa's reindeers or an exhilarating ride onboarda sledge pulled by a team of huskies. Then you can take in the breathtaking scenery on a snowmobile ride through the forest with the kids in tow on their own sleigh. After that why not roll back the years with some tobogganing down the slopes?
If you're not already exhausted and want more, more, more - then choose an afternoon excursion. Alternatively spend time playing in the snow - snowmen don't build themselves after all!
Day 3...Arctic Adventures
During another fun-filled morning organised by Santa's elves, you'll go on a search for Santa as he's busy preparing for christmas; is he at the Post Office, is he hiding at home or maybe Mrs Claus can help? Even if she doesn't know where he is it would be rude not to pop in and try some of her world famous hot chocolate.
After the search for Santa is over you'll take time to thaw out those fingers and toes by the fire whilst you listen to an enthralling, traditional Lappish tale of the 'Ceremony of Crossing the Arctic Circle'.
Finally you'll pay a visit to the Elf School and try your hand at being an Elf; by the end of the day you'll be master of all trades from snow sculpting and Elf dancing to the fine art of delivering presents by toboggan.
Day 4
For those of you that are staying that little bit longer the day is free for you to spend however you choose. Perhaps something you've already tried has left you wanting more or perhaps you'd like to try something new.
A Festive Feast
On your last night in Lapland* you'll be treated to a gala dinner with all the trimmings and full of festive treats. For those of you who have been good, you may even get a visit from Santa as he gets ready for the big day! Once Santa has been through his long list of names it's time for his elves to throw you a party and send you off in style!
