You can explore the fabulous scenery by cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, long-distance skating or kicksledding as well as by reindeer sleigh, horse-driven sleigh or dogsled.
You may also opt for a snowmobile safari or snowbus tour. Let local guides ensure your safety and comfort on your adventures.
Clean air, the peace and quiet of nature and a feeling of space are on offer everyday, and this is also the region where you are most likely to see the Northern Lights. Located on the shores of Lake Ounasjarvi and home to just 800 residents, Hetta is an authentic and vibrant Lapp village, south of which lies the Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. The village of Kilpisjarvi is located close to the border with Sweden and Norway, in a breathtaking landscape where fells rise to more than 1,000 metres, the highest in Finland. The Arctic Ocean is merely 40 km away.
