Kilpisjarvi

Here in your search for Santa Claus we bring you to the Kilpisjarvi area located in splendid isolation close to the Norwegian border. Here you generally are above the tree line and the scenery tends to be wilder, with more bush than trees present. Some might even describe it as the end of the earth but we feel it has its own omnipotent splendour. Certainly an ideal location as a magical as you can imagine.

Please do not expect any form of commercialism here!! Rather the warmth of the Lappish people who's very aim is to ensure you have a most enjoyable visit and an enjoyable encounter with their famous resident Santa Claus.

Cabins

A selection of cabins is offered which will accommodate 2-8 persons. Cabins all offer private sauna, shower and toilet. Most have a romantic log fire but not all, so please let us know if this is important to you.

As all our cabins have a different layout and decoration please note that any images shown are as a guide only and your cabin may not look like the ones shown on this website.

All bedrooms differ and they may have bunk beds, twin beds or a sofa bed. These rooms may be situated on the ground floor or, if applicable, on the 1st or 2nd floor, depending on the size of your cabin. You can be assured however that all the cabins are very comfortable and, of course, centrally heated.

It is very important to let us know if you are traveling with friends as accommodation is provided in varying areas and meals are provided in several locations.

Meals

Meals are provided at a specific restaurant closest to the accommodation allocated to your party. Dinner at each location is a Finnish traditional Christmas Buffet with additional children's favourites so which ever restaurant is allocated to you the meals taken will be similar in nature. Beverages are not included and should be purchased at the time of your order locally.
