Yllas will be quite overcome by the magnificent scenery and varying moods. Whether you are looking for a quiet holiday or days packed with action, you'll find Yllas has both and everything between. Yllas area consists of seven fells and two original lappish villages. At 718m, Yllas fell itself is one of the highest fells in Lapland. Akaslompolo village is located on the northern side of the Yllas fell and Yllasjarvi village on the southern side. Yllas has a skiing tradition dating back to 1930's.

Snow Princess Hotel

The Snow Princess is a cosy hotel built in traditional Lappish style. There are plenty of facilities available here, including a comfortable and spacious restaurant with panoramic views across the Arctic landscape. The hotel is approx. 500m from a small selection of restaurants, bars and a souvenir shop. Yllas Ski Centre is 4km away, and a free ski bus operates from the hotel. The spa pool at Akashotel is 1 km away.

Twin rooms sleep 2 adults and 1 child (aged 2 - 12 years only) with limited space and have sauna, private facilities (shower only), hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, kettle and central heating. Larger rooms which sleep up to 4 adults (some with limited space) have twin beds in a mezzanine and 2 single beds or sofa beds downstairs, and have facilities as per twin rooms.
